How long will my cupcakes last?

Our cupcakes are best if eaten the same day they are purchased, however they will still be delicious for up to 3 days after, as long as they are kept in their original box or an airtight container.

What can I do to keep my cupcakes fresher for longer?

Cupcakes don’t like to be refrigerated, as they dry out the cake, but if you want to keep the cupcakes in their best state for a longer period of time, then freezing them in an airtight container is perfect. Just let them come back to room temperature on their own, and enjoy!

Where are Gabby's Cupcakes baked?

Our cupcakes are baked on site at our bakery at Shop 13, 18 Inverness Road, Browns Bay, Auckland, New Zealand. We use the freshest ingredients available and every cupcake is made with love.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

For a cupcake order we need at least 24 hours to make the freshest cupcakes iced to perfection for pickup or delivery. For cake creations we need 72 hours notice , so that we can throw all our creative talents into making something you’ll love.

Can I order any flavour cupcake or cake?

We’re always up for a challenge, so yes, ask us if we can create a specific flavoured cupcake and we will do our best, however there are no guarantees and if the flavour doesn’t meet the Gabby’s Cupcakes standard you may have to choose from our wide range of available flavours.

Can I get Gluten Free cupcakes or cakes?

Yes, we offer gluten free cupcakes and cakes that absolutely delicious, so there is no need to miss out on cupcake delights.

What is Gluten?

There is no reason why someone with a gluten-free diet should miss out on scrumptious cakes and desserts, especially at Gabby's Cupcakes. Since the company's inception, the team at Gabby's Cupcakes have been committed to providing their customers with the highest quality freshly baked cakes, cupcakes, desserts and muffins whatever their dietary needs.

Gluten is a protein often used in foods as an additive to thicken, stabilise or create flavour and one of the most common forms of it is “dextrin”. It can be found in wheat, rye and barley amongst other foods. Symptoms can be debilitating and many sufferers find themselves missing out on many of their favourite foods as these food groups tend to be prevalent in many cultures' typical diet. Others who don't necessarily suffer from gluten allergies such as coeliac disease, find a gluten-free diet a positive step towards a healthier diet and lifestyle.

For that reason, at Gabby's Cupcakes, we can cater gluten-free versions of our delicious products with no compromise on taste, sensation, texture or eating experience. Can I get Vegetarian / Vegan friendly cupcakes and cakes?

Yes, we do have egg free cupcakes with our delicious buttercream available on request

How soon can I order cupcakes? Can I get them today?

At Gabby’s Cupcakes we try our very best to accommodate everyone, so if you need something urgently, please do give us a call, and we’ll let you know if it will be possible to complete the order in time.

How do I place an order?

Well, we have several ordering options:

Is there a minimum order quantity?

For deliveries and special orders (cupcakes not on our standard menu), we require a minimum order qty of 12 (1 Doz). However you can pick-up an order of any qty from our bakery at Shop 13, 18 Inverness Road, Browns Bay, 0630. These still must be ordered in advance.

How much will deliveries cost?

Our drop down menu when purchasing online will give you the price to deliver to your Auckland suburb. For special delivery further afield call us 0800 FROSTING (376 784)

Can I get my cupcakes or cake posted to me?

Unfortunately we cannot post our cupcakes, as the chances of them reaching their destination intact aren’t very high. We do offer deliveries on the North Shore and Auckland City region, and our cupcakes can be couriered to you if you’re in the greater Auckland area.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you’re always welcome to collect from our bakery

Can I get a cake or cupcakes made for my Wedding?

Yes we do bake cupcakes especially for weddings, and we do offer as a special service for all our brides, cakes for those who want the more traditional wedding cake.

How do I know my cupcakes are Allergen free?

Although we try our best to keep our cupcakes away from allergens such as nuts, we cannot guarantee that the ingredients we use have been processed with the same care. There may be traces of nuts in our cupcakes and cakes.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes, our prices are GST inclusive.

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

Please give us as much notice as possible when changing or cancelling an order. We will try to be as accommodating as possible, if we need to change or postpone an order. Refunds for cancellations are given per our Terms of Trade below or at Gabby’s Cupcakes discretion.
